I am completely self-taught when it comes to paper sculpture. I love collecting paper and have sheets from all over the world. I became intrigued with paper sculpture when I saw a book explaining its techniques. I was amazed at what you could depict with just curling, scoring, cutting and folding. I thought I would finally be able to use my vast quantities of decorative paper! Well no, I find I love to see just what one- and two-ply white Bristol paper can do. However, I have used my collection of papers for the backgrounds. Cutting, scoring, folding and curling paper lets me use my decorative style.
